Lorraine Lozinski, age 81, of Marshall, Minnesota, died on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at her home. No Memorial Services are planned at this time. Please leave the family a message or memory in the digital guestbook of her page on the funeral home's website.
Lorraine Louise Blomme was born on October 21, 1943, to Ray and Elsie (DeSleer) Blomme in Marshall, Minnesota. She grew up in Marshall and attended Marshall schools, graduating with the high school class of 1962.
Lorraine was united in marriage to Ronald Lozinski on January 11, 1964, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. They made their home in Marshall before Ron's employment took him to Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. There they started their own electrical business where Lorraine worked alongside Ron in the family business. She largely kept the books and lined up work permits for client accounts.
After Ron passed away in 1994, Lorraine moved to Chicago and lived there with her daughter, Cathie. Lorraine again moved to Florida and then Texas before returning home to Marshall.
Lorraine died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at her home. She reached the age of 81 years, one month, and 14 days. Blessed be her memory.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathie (Brad) Barton of Anna, TX; sister, JoAnn (Ivan) Makovec of Minneapolis; brother, Joseph (Kathy) Blomme of Red Wing; brothers-in-law, Alvin (Jean) Lozinski, Jerry (Kathy) Lozinski, Monsignor Eugene Lozinski, Loren Lozinski; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Merritt, Bev Lozinski, Lucille Melcher, Donna Sanders, Mary Lozinski; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Ron (in 1994); infant son, Ronnie Jr. (in 1965); parents, Ray & Elsie Blomme; parents-in-law, Louis & Cecelia Lozinski; and brothers-in-law, Ray Lozinski, Dennis Lozinski, Bob Merritt, Merlyn Melcher, and Jerry Sanders.
