Lorraine F. Bartell Seeman, age 97, Marshfield, Wisconsin died on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Three Oaks Health Services, Marshfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Marshfield - the visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Donn Radde will officiate. The burial will take place at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 10 in Winneconne Cemetery. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Lorraine was born on July 21, 1927, in Oshkosh to Earl and Olga (Schmoker) Buser. She was a 1944 graduate of Winneconne High School and then attended Oshkosh Business College.
She married Reuben L. Bartell on May 22, 1948, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Winneconne. After her marriage she was employed at Whitehouse Milk Company in Winneconne. The Bartells moved to Portage, Wisconsin in 1950 where they lived for 12 years. They then moved to Atlanta, Georgia for two years until 1965 when they moved to Marshfield. Lorraine was then employed as a medical assistant at the Marshfield Clinic for 19 years. Reuben died on October 8, 1990.
Lorraine enjoyed embroidery, baking, playing cards, crossword puzzles, Scrabble, and visiting Winneconne and Fremont, Wisconsin. She loved her husband immensely as he did her.
She is survived by two daughters, Julianne Kay Bartell of Marshfield and Joni Peterson of Arpin. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Heidi Topping and three great grandchildren, AJ, Nyah, and Dakota Topping. She is further survived by three nephews, Jeff, Marty, and Johny Buser.
She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, and a brother, John Buser.
