Lorraine R. Wagenman passed away to her heavenly home to be with her loved ones, on December 16, 2023, at the age of 93.
Lorraine was born June 5, 1930, in
Worden, Montana. She was the daughter of Peter Wagenman and Christine Hust Wagenman. She was the youngest of 14 children. Lorraine attended school in Worden and Huntley Project. In 1951 she moved to Billings with her parents. She worked for Billings and Meadow Gold Dairies, Sweetheart Bakery, and United States Postal Service. She retired in 1994 with 20 years of service with the Post Office. She enjoyed housework, yardwork, gardening, and baking. She liked sharing with family, friends, and coworkers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, nine brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Jean Wagenman of Billings, loving friends, and many wonderful nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Smith Funeral Chapel, 925 S. 27th St. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Reception will follow the service at Smith Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be sent to Pilgrim Congregational Church or
charity of choice.
