Lorraine "Lorrie" Wood

I knew Lorraine in high school, but lost touch afterwards. It looks like she led a wonderful and adventurous life, including admirable military service, and has done a lot for women service members - very impressive! She will certainly be missed. My condolences to her family and friends.

Lorrie and I were meant to meet and a lasting friendship it proved to be. I enjoyed sharing wine with her; house and bunny-sitting in Sicily while she visited family in MA, and other visits to Sicily to be with her. I shall miss her greatly---our emails back-and-forth. She was a generous and kind woman underneath a stern exterior. I admired her gusto, courage, and independence. My sincere sympathy and prayers to her family. God Bless You and Keep You, Dear Lorrie.
