Lorraine Woods

West Springfield, Lorraine (Beaudoin) Woods, 98, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025. Born in Chicopee, May 28, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Mildren (Bourassa) Beaudoin. She grew up in Chicopee and moved to West Springfield in 1979. She was a graduate of Assumption Grammar School and Chicopee High School class of 1945. She worked at New England Telephone, later AT&T for over 40 years, retiring in 1987. She was a communicant of St Thomas Church. Her husband of 51 years, Arnold Woods Jr died in 1998 and her longtime partner of 25 years, Vincent Palange died earlier this year. She was also predeceased by her son David. She leaves her son, Arnold Woods III, 2 grandchildren, Arnold Woods IV and Riley Woods. She also leaves her longtime caregiver, Melissa Paier, Vincent’s family, JoAnn Paier, Annette DeMaio and Frank and Sheila Palange. The Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
