Lorretta Silva Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Noblin Funeral Service of Belen on Mar. 26, 2026.
Lorretta Ann Silva, 59, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on 03/23/2026. Born 09/04/1966 in Gardena, California, Lorretta lived a life defined by boundless love, an infectious spirit, and unwavering devotion to family, faith, and learning.
Raised in California, she developed an early curiosity about the world and pursued studies in physics and space science in college. A certified IT professional and substitute teacher, Lorretta brought her love of learning and patient guidance to students and colleagues alike. Heavily involved in her church, her faith was central to her life.
Lorretta loved horses, Jesus, and most of all her children. She was known for her kindness, quick wit, and the way she made people feel seen and valued. Whether sharing stories, offering support in difficult times, or celebrating life's small joys, she brought heart and humor to every relationship.
She is survived by her sons; Charlie Quane, Armando Silva, and Tony Armando Silva; her daughter Ashley Coker; her lifelong partner and ex-husband, Tony Silva; her mother Annie Massegee; and her brother Dennis Massegee. She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Lee Massegee.
A memorial service to celebrate Lorretta's life will be held at Valley Christian Church on 04/03/2026 at 1:00 PM, with a reception to follow.
Please let the family know if you plan to attend the service by contacting the family directly so they can prepare for the reception.
Lorretta's warmth, curiosity, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Matthew 6:19-21
19 "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust[a] destroy and where thieves break in and steal, 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
