Lou Ella J. McCulloch, 83, of Medina, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025, with her family by her side. Lou Ella was born on September 29, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Howard and Laura (Willard) Welker.

She even authored books in Paper Americana discussing various antiques. Lou Ella loved water, and spending time on vacations at the beach. Anyone that knew Lou Ella also knows that she loved her margaritas and seafood.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Robert McCulloch in 2019 and her brother, Phillip Welker.

She is survived by her children, Robert (Sandra) McCulloch, Bonni (Martin) Gasparro, and Scott (Lori) McCulloch; grandchildren, Jillian, Devin, Greg, Rocco, Randi, and Thomas; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 5-7 pm and on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 10-11 am at Waite Funeral Home: 765 North Court Street, Medina, OH 44256.
