With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of LouAnn H. Curtis, who departed this life peacefully on October 30, 2025, at the age of 82.

Born in Spokane, Washington. LouAnn brought warmth, grace, and quiet strength to every chapter of her life. She spent 20 dedicated years working as a secretary for the Bellevue School District, where her kindness and diligence touched countless lives. In 2004, she and her beloved husband Roger Lee Curtis made their home in Anacortes, Washington, where they spent 8 beautiful years together in a community she came to cherish deeply, until 2012 when Roger passed away. LouAnn would then spend another 13 years in Anacortes surrounded by her cherished community before she passed away as well.

LouAnn was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded by her husband Roger (2012); and is survived by her sons Danny Curtis (Kristen) and Paul Curtis (Misty); and her five adored grandchildren: Fallyn, Chance, Marley, Oliver, and Gideon. Her family was her heart, and she poured love into every moment spent with them.

A passionate volunteer, LouAnn gave generously of her time to AARF, Island Hospital, and the Anacortes Senior Center. Her compassion and commitment to helping others were hallmarks of her character. She also found joy in music, especially in playing the piano, which filled her home with melody and comfort.

LouAnn will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her unwavering devotion to family and community, and the quiet beauty she brought to the world. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the love she gave so freely.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Humane Society, the Anacortes Senior Center, or Island Hospital. Bookmark this link to check for updates: www.evanschapel.com/obituary/louann-curtis
