LouAnn Bounds Laurance

LouAnn Bounds Laurance died peacefully on Oct. 7, 2024, in Williamsburg Va. She was the daughter of Robert and Charlotte Bounds from Baltimore MD.
Lou Ann grew up in the Baltimore area attending high school, college, and nursing School. Nursing became her passion and she worked caring for others for decades.
She married her true love and soul mate, James Laurance in 1955 and they shared their love for traveling, music and the arts, and the Holy Spirit.
Lou Ann is survived by her four children, Susan, James (Christine), Juli and Sally (Art Farias), six grandchildren, Nick, Tyler, Allie, Will, Charlotte and Benjamin and four great grandchildren, Hudson, Theo, Matteo, and Poppy.
She taught her children about, integrity, respect, honor, and faith. Mostly she taught everyone about being kind and treating others as you would yourself.
Lou Ann will be greatly missed by friends and family, and we are comforted knowing she is back in the arms of her Jim.
A Memorial service will be conducted at Eastern Shore Chapel Episcopal Church on Friday, December 6th, 2024 at 11:00 AM with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Eastern Shore Chapel Memorial Fund or Outreach Africa (Lost Boys of Sudan).
