Louie Dell Fields Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. Louie Dell Fields, Jr. will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 3pm at Shiloh Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Turner, Larry Turner, Jimmy Watson, Tom Key, John Cromer, and Roy Fields. Honorary pallbearers will be the Senior Men's Bible Class. The family will receive friends tonight (Wednesday) from 6-8pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken. Memorial contributions may be directed to Shiloh Baptist Church Building Fund, 3925 Shiloh Church Rd, Aiken, SC, 29805. Mr. Fields, 79, of Aiken, died Monday, March 1, 2010 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A lifelong resident Aiken, he was the son of the late Louie D. Fields, Sr. and Pearl Whitlock Fields. He served as a deacon and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, and the Senior Men's Bible Class. Louie liked to hunt, fish, and ride the dogs on the golf cart. He retired after thirty seven years as the plant supervisor from Coca-Cola Aiken. Louie enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his great grandson. He is survived by his wife Deanne Brock Fields, son, Louie "Butch" Dell Fields, III, Belton, SC; daughter, Cathy Jarnagin, Aiken, sister, Joy Nason and her husband Marty, Murrells Inlet, SC grandchildren, Terena Jarnagin Corley and her husband Kevin, Aiken; Natasha Jarnagin Lard and her husband Scottie, North Augusta; and great grandson, Landon Corley.
