Louis passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017. Louis was a resident of Westerly, Rhode Island at the time of his passing. He served in the Atlantic as part of the armed guard aboard merchant marine ships carrying materials needed for the war in Africa and Europe. He was married to Dorothy. Visiting hours will be held Friday Jan. 20 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Gaffney Dolan Funeral Home 59 Spruce St. Westerly. Funeral services will be held Saturday Jan. 21 10 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial with Full Military Honors at River Bend Cemetery in Westerly. Visiting hours will be held Friday Jan. 20 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Gaffney Dolan Funeral Home 59 Spruce St. Westerly. Funeral services will be held Saturday Jan. 21 10 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial with Full Military Honors at River Bend Cemetery in Westerly. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Childrenâs Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis TN. 38105.
