I worked at the Depot Law Center at Parris Island with Lou. He was great, everybody liked him because he was fun and down to earth. He came in the Marines and made it better. Newsflash----
The Marine Corps relies on people like him for its greatness. Not the other way around.

Many years ago, my nephew Louie came to visit me in his handsome Marine uniform at my school in Brockton. I brought him into the cafeteria to greet the 5th and 6th graders. The kids thought he was the greatest. Louie went around to all the tables answering all their questions. He even went out to recess with them. It took forever to settle the kids down after he left. Louie made me a proud Uncle that day.
