Mine and my husband George's deepest sympathy to you all in the loss of Lou. I remember him very well for his warm greetings, fantastic sense of humor, and in my way, way, way younger years, visits to Blanche and Lou Stillpass. Once there was a visit to Beverly's and his most recent residence, where we met in the lobby and sat and chatted for a bit.
Sue Pliskin brought me there and it is she who let me know of Lou's passing.
Truly, Lou was a wonderful man. Although we have certainly lost contact, please know Lou and all of you who George and I met at the Bar Mitzvah so many, many years ago, are in my thoughts at this time.
As I recall, you are a remarkable family!!
To you, Bev, my added deep sympathies for the passing of your life partner and thank you for always being so welcoming when I visited as a child and now and again as an adult. Love, Margie (nee After) and George Schiering.
