Louis Ferrante Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McGhee-Givnish Funeral Home, Inc. on Feb. 9, 2023.
Louis G. Ferrante, of Huntingdon Valley, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday Feb. 7, 2023. He was 78. Lou was born in Philadelphia to Rosa (nee Pultro) and Luigi Ferrante. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 55 years, Peggy; children, Louis, Christa and Jeanine (John Martin); grandchildren, Jeremy, Samantha, Shannon, Erin, Alex, and Noah. He is also survived by his dear brother-in-law, Mike Adiletto (Sue) as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Lou was a simple, gentle, patient, kind and contented man. All he needed in life was Peggy, a Winston and time with his children and grandchildren. Whether it was time on the floor with little ones or playing cards at the table, there was always a story, smiles and laughter. He welcomed everyone with warmth and kindness into his home and heart and we will carry his love and lessons with us always.
Relatives and friends are invited to Lou's Life Celebration on Sat. Feb. 11, 2023 from 10 to 11:30 AM at McGhee Givnish Funeral Home, 690 Belmont Ave., Southampton, PA. A procession will leave the Funeral Home at 11:30 for interment and Air Force Military Honors at Holy Sepulchre in Philadelphia. The Ferrante family has requested donations in Lou's name be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306 or dogood.t2t.org. Condolences, stories and your fondest memories of Lou may be sent to his family by visiting mcgheegivnish.com.
