Louis Lanassa Obituary
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, November 26, 2021 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Deanna Gaudet Lanassa; 3 daughters, Anne L. Boyer Smith (Larry), Mary Lanassa (Tom), and Jane L. Barrios; 3 granddaughters, Nicole Boyer (Justin), Brittney B. McIver (Alley) and Toni Barrios (Ashton); and 1 great grandson, Rhys A. McIver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oneziphore and Malvina Duplessie Lanassa; father and mother-in-law, Johnny and Louise Arabie Gaudet; son-in-law, Kerry J. Barrios and brother, Hecton J. Lanasse.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and a avid hunter when younger. Above all, he was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all.
