Louis was a good college buddy of mine and I will miss him dearly. I always admired his art skills and how advance he was in his drawings. He loved detail on all his work.
We always enjoyed our time when we went to Greenwich Village to listen to jazz which he turned me on to. He loved George Benson and Herbie Hancock, and Oscar Peterson. We listened to music in the basement of his parents house in Brooklyn.
We also spent a lot of time enjoying Central Park.
Louis had this incredible laugh that would have him buckle over.
Louis loved life and he loved people. He only wanted us all to get along and love one another.
Though I had not seen him for many years since I was in Omaha, when my granddaughter was born, I never stopped thinking about him.
I tried connecting with him a few years ago, I wasn´t aware he had been sick and had been suffering from his affliction.
I know he´s now in Heaven with our Lord and I hope to see him again when I complete my journey here on earth since we are all here temporarily.
I´ll miss him and I know his wonderful family share these sentiments.
My friend until we meet again, may God bless you and keep you for all eternity.

I want you to know that although I am across the seas, and many miles away here in England, I was with you today, in my heart and yours. Love you. David.
