I can't believe it's already been 10 years since Louisa's passing. This does not mean that I don't think of her often as she was a very precious friend and coworker to me. I'll forever continue praying for her and that she watch over all of us--I will always fondly remember our dear Louisa. Descanse en Paz amiga.

My condolences to the Herrera and Barrientes families. I fondly remember Louisa from working at Kelly in the EEO office. She was such an inspiration to me in helping other fellow workers with grievances and discrimination cases.
Not only did we work together in social justice issues, but Louisa became my business partner working AmeriPlan, and we kept on cheering ourselves toward different promotions.
I will always cherish her true friendship, warmth and spirituality. I just found out about her passing about five minutes ago, and I am shocked to know we lost such a beautiful lady. With all my love and respect for Louisa and her family, may she rest in eternal peace and may God's perpetual light shine upon her.

My sincere condolences to the entire family on the passing of Louisa. I was fortunate to have known this wonderful and very professional woman. My wife was a recipient of her knowledge when Louisa assisted her in applying for a Federal job. It comes a very surprise of her passing and may she rest in peace. The Lord obviously had something more important for her to do in heaven.

Gilbert.....May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Louisa will truly be missed. She was a special lady and I am so glad I got to know and work with her when she came to the PPP unit. She always made the day when she talked about her grandkids whom she loved so dearly and if you stepped the wrong way w/her, she knew how to put you in your place. I can only now look back at all the fond memories and thank God for bringing this angel into my life.

Dear Herrera Family,
Please accept my deepest condolences and may the Lord grant you each peace and acceptance in this time of loss. I had the pleasure of having Louisa as a patient of mine in dental school. I always enjoyed my appointments with her. She was the epitome of the perfect patient! I will remember her most for her beautiful smile, infectious laugh, easy-going attitude and wonderful personality. She was such a pleasure to work with and patients like her make me want to be a better doctor. I hope to be her dentist in heaven :) My prayers are with you all and may God bless you.

My very first Civil Service position was working with Louisa back in 1983. I was only 18 and she was such a mentor to me. I was in awe of how sharp she looked in her business suits, her dark wavy hair and even her nails always polished beautifully. Louisa taught me so much, especially how to be strong and not to take crap from anyone. We worked very hard in our little AFCOM’s Unit, but would also have so much fun on our lunch hour shopping and talking. We used to get great bargains in Mervyn’s at South Park Mall!!! We stayed good friends after all these years. We might not have seen or talked to each other for quite some time but always picked up like no time elapsed at all. I will dearly miss my good friend Louisa. Having her in my life for all these years has been such a blessing. I know how much she cherished her family and I am praying that you find some peace knowing she is in heaven smiling and pain free.

Dear Herrera Family,
I remember Louisa from John F. Kennedy. Her picture says it best, that beautiful smile she always had during our school years at JFK. May God give you peace at this time. I know she will be so dearly missed. Take care, and keep the memories, and that beautiful smile of her's, close to your heart. What a great wife, mother, and grandmother she, without a doubt, she is to you.

Please accept our deepest sympathy. Gary and I send your family my condolences during your time of grief.
May God bless your souls; You may be wondering why she had to go. But only God and Heaven knows. When the day comes you'll see him at the crossroads But until that day. Just know God works in mysterious ways..
Louisa always had a real good sense of humor up to the end. She was so full of love, laughter, and encouragement, and always had... great stories to tell about her family.
