Louise (Lynn) Evelyn Bozman (nee Roberts)
June 8, 1951 – November 6, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Louise Evelyn Bozman, lovingly
known as Lynn, on November 6, 2024. Born on June 8, 1951, Lynn was a cherished wife,
mother, grandmother, and friend, whose spirit and love for life touched all who knew her.
A proud 1969 graduate of Interboro High School, Lynn was an active and joyful participant
in the Buccaneer gatherings at the Town House, where she delighted in connecting with
lifelong friends. After high school, Lynn followed her passion for caregiving and completed
nursing school, later dedicating over 31 years of her life to her role as a nurse at Delaware
County Memorial Hospital. Her compassion and commitment to others were evident in her
long tenure, where she worked with dedication and heart.
In 2003, Lynn faced a formidable battle after being diagnosed with stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's
Lymphoma. With courage, resilience, and the expert care of her team at Fox Chase Cancer
Center, she defied the odds and emerged victorious. This victory was a testament to her
strength and the love and support of her family. For over two decades, she remained a
survivor, inspiring others with her perseverance and determination.
Lynn found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as her regular shopping trips to
Pathmark, Roy Tweedy's, and Booths Corner Farmers Market. She was also the steady
heart and mind behind Dean Bozman's Taxidermy and Big Daddy's Fish & Hunting,
managing the business finances and operations with care, allowing her late husband,
Dean, to connect with customers. Her legacy of hard work, quiet strength, and unwavering
support will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Lynn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dean P. Bozman, and her brother,
Jack Roberts. She leaves behind her sons, Dean Bozman (Theresa) and Jason Bozman
(Casey), along with her treasured grandchildren, Bridget, Dean, Katelyn, Leah, Mackenzie,
Jason, and Kevin and dear brother Donald Roberts (Beth). Her love, warmth, and wisdom will be deeply missed but forever
remembered by her family and friends.
Funeral Service: Monday November 11, 2024 at 11am at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA. 19036.
Viewing: Sunday, 6-8pm and Monday, 10-11am both are held at the funeral home.
Burial: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill
