Services will be 12:00 PM Friday, February 28, 2025 in the chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, 26 Brentwood Place, Forsyth, Georgia. Reverend Rufus J. Whatley officiating. Burial in Pine Grove CME Church Cemetery, 554 Pine Grove Church Rd, Culloden, Georgia. Service is scheduled to be Streamed Live on our Facebook page.
Public viewing will be Thursday, February 27th from 2-6 PM. Keep the family in prayer
Louise G. Cunnigan was born March 20, 1946 in Monroe County to Robert Gaines Sr. and Lillie Mae Gaines, both preceded her in death. She departed this earthly on Monday, February 17, 2025.
She was educated in the public school system of Monroe County and attended Hubbard High School. She loved traveling in her young adult years. She worked as a domestic house manager.
She was joined in matrimony to the late Rudolph Cunnigan Sr. Louise had a love for family, hosting family gatherings as well preparing her famous favorite family dishes.
Ms. Louise leaves to cherish her memories her fur baby pet "CoCo"; 2 daughters, Catrina Gaines-Wimberly (late Ira L. Wimberly Jr.) and their 3 children Anthony Wimberly, KendallWimberly and Marrisa Wimberly: Makela Love and her 3 children RaShad Love, Roderick Braddy, Raquel Braddy, (Qu'ervo D. Love preceded in death); 4 sons, Christopher Love and his 4 children, Dominique Love, Christopher Love Jr., Ashanti Love, Kayden Love: Rudolph Love Jr. and his 5 children, Zekela "Kira" Love, Ke'Nyia "Nyia" Love, Ka'Mya "Mya" Love, Romelo Love, Ryasia: Gerren Keith Cunnigan and his 2 children, Quuterious Cunnigan, Jayla Malone: Mitchell J. Rogers Jr. and his 2 children, Royal Rogers and Ronie Rogers; 19 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Willie Gaines, Ulysees Gaines Sr., James Gaines, Melvin Gaines (Brenda); 2 sister Mary Robbie Morrison, Alma Belle Jordan (preceded in death ) ; sister-in-law Sharon Myrick; goddaughter, Melissa Beal, her home health care aid Chermae Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
