Louise L. Galmarini, 93, of New Castle, passed away the morning of November 9, 2025 at the Avalon Care Center.
Born in New Castle on February 25, 1932, Louise was the daughter of the late Alfonso and Nicoletta Conti Jannetti.
On May 29, 1954 Louise married her beloved husband, Victor A. Galmarini, Sr. Victor preceded her in death on January 26, 2013.
In the early years Louise had worked in the accounting department and as a phone operator for Bell Telephone. She had also worked at the Theater in New Castle.
Louise was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Camillus Church. In the early years Louise enjoyed bowling, camping, traveling with her husband and visiting casinos. Louise was a fantastic baker and cook. A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother, one of Louise's favorite past times when spending time with her family, was playing cards with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Louise is survived by her children, Carol Stelts (Dave), Vickie Gingras (Gene), Patty Julian, Laurie Alberico (Mike) and Victor Galmarini, Jr. (Paula), eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and three great-great grandsons.
In addition to her parents and husband, Louise was preceded in death by her brother, Frank "Buster" Jannetti and her five sisters, Virginia Malandro, Evelyn Smith, Norma Landgiotti, Dolores Fiello and Shirley Jannetti.
Visitation will be on Wednesday 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road. A procession will leave the funeral home on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Camillus Church. Father Benjamin Barr will officiate. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
The Family would like to thank the staff at Avalon Care Center and Three Rivers Hospice for the loving care given to Louise.
