Louise Brennan Hackett

Louise Brennan Hackett, of Gloucester, beloved wife and mother, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025, at the age of 98. Louise was born in Richmond, VA, on December 16, 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-seven years, William Power Hackett, Jr. and is survived by her three sons, Donald B. Hackett and his wife Kristen of Rome, GA, Michael L. Hackett and his wife Judith of Gloucester, VA and Terry S. Hackett and his wife, Laurel of Richmond, VA; grandchildren, Karissa Hackett of Rome, GA, Jessie Hackett of Rome, GA and Tracey Marek of Mechanicsville, VA. Louise loved being a wife and best friend to her husband, "Billy" and raising her three boys. She lived a life of sacrificial giving, always putting her family above herself. In 1987, Louise and Bill moved to Gloucester, VA, and enjoyed life on the Piankatank River. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Services are private.
