Louise Mittnacht

Back in the late 60's when I joined a band with Bob Mittnacht "Myst" I was fortunate to meet his mother Louise. She was so friendly and accepted all the band members into her home. Last year on vacation to Manitowoc I was @ Metro Jam and Bob invited me to come behind stage. Louise was backstage also and we reminisced about the good old days. She was fun to talk to and I always loved her smile. She will be missed. I'm sending my prayers .

Mrs. Mittnacht was my kindergarten teacher at Cleveland Elementary School in 1971. She was a wonderful teacher, and because of that I have some great memories of my first year of school. My condolences to her family and friends.

Good memories of my friend and teaching colleague...

I met Louise in 1992 when we were both on a trip to Europe. I was 23 and she was 70. I enjoyed hanging out with her & her group of friends even more than hanging out with the people my own age on the tour. She always had an infectious smile, a great laugh, a positive & happy disposition, and a kind heart. I have such fond memories of her. I'm very sorry to read of her passing. My sympathies to her family. Rest in peace, Louise.
