Although many years have passed since Coach Burke coached at Parma High, his legacy is still rememberd and celebrated all of these years later. Thank you for your impact on our program Coach!

My deepest condolences to Kay and the Burke family. Many memories are running through my mind right now about all the wonderful times and suspense we shared at the Lakewood football games. Jim loved coaching with Brian. How about those bus trips? My granddaughter loved you Kay. Your family was so nice when we met when the baked potatoes were overdone. I lost my Jim four years ago. He went through an ordeal like Brian. I hope the two of them are up there comparing X's and O's. You were a devoted wife. Kay.

Kay, we met you and Brian when we were in Florida visiting Leo and Lynn in the apartment building overlooking the water. My husband graduated from Rhodes High School and always spoke well of Brian. My thoughts and prayers are with Kay Burke and their entire family. Coach Burke had a truly profound and positive effect on my early years of high school and high school football. Coach Burke was much more than a coach, he was a role model for all students, including his players.
