Louise Rostkowski, 74, passed away Wednesday morning, January 28, 2026 at her home in Sheboygan Falls.
Louise was born August 11, 1951 in Tomahawk, WI to Francis and Irene (Leiviska) Gavin.
On August 18, 1973, she was united in marriage with Ted Rostkowski, Sr. in Sheboygan. They met at the Palladium when she was a waitress and he was a bouncer. The couple shared 42 years together before his death in 2015.
She loved gardening, going out to see live music, dancing and riding motorcycles with Ted.
Louise is survived by both parents; two daughters, Christine Rostkowski of Ohio, Samantha Griffiths of Minnesota; two sons, Ted Jr.(Heather) Rostkowski of Sheboygan, Francis (Angela Zawatzke) Rostkowski of Sheboygan, and ; six grandchildren, Danielle (Fiancé Kevin Eldreth) Lindekugel, Cindy (David) Hansmann, Samantha (Ryan Hand) Rostkowski, Sierra Rostkowski, Darwin Rostkowski, and Harlan Rostkowski; eight great-grandchildren, Savannah, Emery, Leiland, Harmony, Ryland, Cash, Hunter and Hazel; sister Paula (Bob) Smith, Susan (Jerry) Howell, and Nettie (Riley) Knudson; other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ted Rostkowski, Sr., her sister, Elizabeth Gavin and brother William Gavin. A memorial service to celebrate Louise’s life will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls. Relatives and friends may greet the family from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
