Strawberry Plains, - LOUISE SNODDERLY, age 98, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 22, 2023. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Strawberry Plains, serving in their church library for many years. She was employed at the Knox County Central Library before moving to the Carson Newman library, where she retired in 1990. Dedicated to education, she also served as a school board member in Jefferson County for several years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Charles "Hugh" Snodderly; and loving sister, Lola Davis. Survived by her dedicated son, Lynn Snodderly; granddaughter, Rachel Vann; and great-grandson, Walter Vann. Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 27, 2023 at Farrar Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Eastview Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tony Hayes officiating.
