Obituary of Louiseann M. Connor
Louiseann Mary Connor of Westville, passed away on May 13th, 2024 at the age of 65.
"LuAnn" was born on May 12th, 1959 in Camden, New Jersey. She is the beloved daughter of the late Francis and Anna (nee Lightcap) Connor. LuAnn is the oldest sister of the late F. Michael Connor, Maryanna (Joesph) Cocciolone, Edward Connor, Marie Connor, and Matthew Connor. LuAnn attended Audobon High School as the graduating class of 1977. At the age of 22, the Connor family faced tragedy when their mother Anna passed away. With most of her siblings being teenagers, LuAnn took her siblings in to raise them as her own. Her compassion and dedication to her family was unwavering, as she loved them fiercely.
While having the responsibility of raising her siblings, LuAnn worked many different jobs to provide for her family. Sometimes, she'd work three jobs at once to make sure her family was taken care of. LuAnn worked in retail, Haircuts Plus and many other salons, as a florist, Holman Lincoln Mercury, Lion Mark Publications, in the corporate office of JC Penny, and Rolled Metal Products for nearly 30 years. Her hard work and dedication paid off knowing that her family was provided for.
In 2010, LuAnn was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her spirit and perseverance had kept her going through the years, with the help of her beloved nephews Brandon and Andrew. LuAnn flourished as an aunt, she loved spending time with the boys and knew that every moment was precious to her. After receiving her results, LuAnn lived life to the fullest. She spent time with her friends, loved the warm weather of summer, and gardening. in 2018, she decided to research her family tree. This led to the discovery of finding her biological father, the late Oliver William Jones, and her half-sister, Beverly Pozielli.
LuAnn will be remembered fondly by those who loved her for her charismatic personality, kind demeanor, and loving soul.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend LuAnn's graveside service on Friday, May 17th, 2024 at 10am in New St. Mary's Cemetery & Mausoleum located at 515 W. Browning Rd, Bellmawr NJ 08031.
