Lovella K. Poe, 79 of Chambersburg, PA went to be with the Lord Monday November 10, 2025 at the hospital with her daughters holding her hands. Born March 14, 1946 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the Late Wrenis and Josephine (Pheil) Bakner.
She is survived by three children; Richard E. Poe Jr. Chambersburg, Vickie Thomas McConnellsburg and Amy Poe (fiancé Jason Reed) Chambersburg, three grandchildren; Dakota and Bailee Thomas Chambersburg, and Cayden Poe Chambersburg, three sisters; Diane Prytherch (Albert) Chambersburg, Brenda Freet York, and Julie Shoemaker (Lloyd) Fayetteville.
Lovella was dedicated to her children and grandchildren. The air she breathed revolved around them. They were her true happiness, and heart. She was a driven, big hearted, and godly woman. Through all her tributes, and trials she never lost faith in God. She taught her family to keep pushing through life no matter what storm came by keeping faith in the Lord. Lovella made many sacrifices for those that she loved. It made her happy to see others happy too.
She had a love for gardening, bird watching, music, scripture, crafting, and showing her big heart. She was a special mother, grandma, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend to many around her. She made a forever imprint in the hearts she touched around her.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life at a later date.
