Lowell Mason, 74, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, IN. He was born July 18, 1951 in Pineville, KY the son of Ned and Alta Collins Mason. He was a pipe layer by trade. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ned Mason, Jr., R.V. Mason, Toby Mason and Edward Mason and grandson, Richard Coulter. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Skeens Mason of Ramsey, IN; son, Lowell Mason, Jr. of Georgetown, IN; daughters, Mary Coulter of Nevada, Betty Mason of Ramsey and Lisa Wells (Larry) of Louisville, KY; stepsons Jeremy Dunn and Justin Smith both of Ramsey, IN, brothers, Charles Phillip Mason (Melissa) of New Washington, IN and Gene Mason of Pineville, KY; sisters Betty Sue Coulter of Salem, IN, Martha Hyer (Steve) of Greenville, IN, Sharon Shrader of West Virginia and Ellen Bernice McCoy (Dale) of New Albany, IN; grandchildren, Kayla, Brian, Steven, Allen, Timothy, Jacob, Destiny, Danielle, Sarah, Emily and Brandon and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, IN. Burial will follow at Woods Chapel in Ramsey, IN. Visitation will be from 5 PM to 8 PM on Friday, October 17, 2025 and on Saturday from 9 AM until the service at 10 AM. Pallbearers will be Steven, Allen and Timothy Wright, Jesse Mason, Justin Smith and Dale McCoy.
