Loyal Lee Blacksher also known as Blackie was born on March 30th, 1930 to his mother and father May and O’dell Blacksher in Chickasha, Oklahoma and passed away on June 16th, 2024 in his home in Fontana, California at the age of 94. Loyal had a lot of love to give and was widowed twice in his lifetime. His two children John and Matthew Blacksher have both passed on as well but are remembered. Loyal had three siblings Hershel, Wanda and Annie as well as 6 grandchildren, his two grandsons James Blacksher and Kevin (Blacksher) Cash and his four granddaughters, Johna Hammond (Blacksher), Crystal Blacksher, Angela Blacksher, and Sarah Lively (Blacksher) all who will greatly miss their grandfather and will share stories about him for years to come. Before he retired he enjoyed working at Kaiser Steel as well as the Fontana School District. In his free time he enjoyed working on cars, had a niche for fixing things and was a life-long Moose member. Loyal “Blackie” will be greatly missed and his legacy will live on through his siblings, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
