Mr. Loyd Dean Gant, age 63, of Franklin, KY passed away on Tuesday April 30, 2024 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday May 2, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Sulphur Spring Cemetery in Simpson County, KY.
Loyd was born in Franklin, KY on March 14, 1961 to the late Loyd Dean Gant, Sr. and the late Eleanor (Poole) Gant.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Anetta Gant of Franklin, KY; 4 children, Eric D. Gant (Rachel) of Bowling Green, KY, Kenny Neal Gant of Franklin, KY, Steven Jones of Franklin, KY and Dylan Jones (Jenna) of Franklin, KY; 2 siblings, Ricky Dean Gant of Franklin, KY, and Angela K. Gant Schwab (Ed) of Bowling Green, KY; 11 grandchildren, Kaleigh Gant, Adie Allen, Zane Fitch, Jaedon Jones, Aubree Jones, Hunter Jones, Jacey Jones, Jacob DeArmond, Gabriel DeArmond, Laura DeArmond and Ethan Gant; 1 great-grandchild, Kooper Groves; 2 nephews, Jason Schwab (Sara), Joseph Schwab (Harlie); 2 nieces, Deanna Williams and Keeli McCoy; 2 aunts, Reba Boyd (Randy), Margie Burton; and 2 uncles, Phillip Poole (Susan) and Tony Tuttle.
Loyd enjoyed golfing, fishing, always cutting up with people, mowing on his tractor, and being with his family especially with his grandkids.
