Loyd Stidham

Loyd Stidham, 72, of Barwick passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024 at his residence.
He was born at Quicksand, Ky to the late Joe and Melda Sizemore Stidham and was the widower of the late Wanda Fugate Stidham. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Scott Stidham, James Stidham, General McArthur Stidham, Sam Stidham; his sister, Nancy Jane Baker and his granddaughter, Brittney Pennington.
Loyd was of the Pentecostal faith.
He was a retired mechanic who enjoyed watching tv, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
Loyd is survived by his son, Richard (Angela) Stidham; his daughter, Malissa (Gary) Noble; his brother, Raleigh Stidham; his sisters, Cora Baker, Laura Baker, Sally Belle Fugate; his grandchildren, Tiffany Noble Combs, Trayvon Noble, Taylee Noble, Jessica Stidham Moore, Kymberlyn Trent, Ayla Stidham; fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation for Loyd will be Sunday, September 1, 2024 at 4:00 PM with singing service beginning at 7:00 PM. His funeral service will be held Monday, September 2, at 12:00 PM at the Breathitt funeral home with Anthony Mullins officiating. He will be laid to rest beside of his wife in the Stidham Family Cemetery at Barwick.
Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Stidham, Gary Noble, Trayvon Noble, Justin Combs, Raleigh Stidham, James Moore, Terry Rowe.
