Luberta Green, born on March 25, 1939, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026. She was 86 years old at the time of her passing, leaving behind a legacy of love and creativity that will be cherished by all who knew her.
As the seventh child in a family of fourteen, Luberta's life was filled with the warmth and camaraderie of siblings, establishing deep connections that would last a lifetime. Her nurturing spirit flourished as she took on the roles of mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, instilling in her family the values of hard work, creativity, and a zest for life.
Luberta was a woman of many talents. Known for her love of reading and her passion for puzzles, she found joy in challenges that engaged both her mind and her heart. As a seamstress, her creativity flourished, allowing her to express herself not only through fabric but also through the meals she lovingly prepared as a talented cook. To everyone who tasted her dishes, they were not just meals, but expressions of her affection and care.
Her life's journey was marked by both her dedication to her family and her ability to bring people together. She was a beloved sister, aunt, cousin, and friend whose warmth and kindness had a lasting impact on those around her.
In celebrating Luberta’s life, we remember her vibrant spirit and indomitable will. The family invites friends and loved ones to honor her memory during a viewing on March 5, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. A funeral service will follow the next day on March 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM at All Nations Fellowship Church in Garland, Texas.
Luberta Green will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all those she touched throughout her remarkable life.
