Lucette Marie Faulkner

Lucette Marie Faulkner, 94, passed away September 25, 2024 in West Hartford. Born July 13, 1930 in Hartford, the only child of Helen (Leblond) and Charles Eugene Morency, she attended St. Anne's parish school in Hartford and graduated from Mount St. Joseph Academy, West Hartford in 1948. Upon graduation she worked at Aetna Life & Casualty where she met and married her husband, Edward Faulkner, who predeceased her in 1995. Lucette was a faithful communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church and a West Hartford resident for nearly 70 years. Always quick with a comment, she was also quick with a smile, and kept the post office busy for decades mailing cards and gifts of celebration and remembrance to family and friends and donations to several charities. Fear of flying didn't keep her from travels and tours with family and friends. She is survived by her four children, John and his partner Sue Zick, Bemidji, MN, Paul and wife Sue, Granby, CT, Ruth, San Francisco, CA, James, Glastonbury, CT; her grandchildren Ryan Faulkner & his wife Joanne, West Hartford, CT, Lauren Faulkner, Evan Faulkner, Glastonbury, CT and close family friends Bob and Barbara Cloonan, West Hartford, CT goddaughter Sarah Cloonan, New York City, Anne Cloonan, West Hartford, Peter Cloonan, Hartford, CT.
