Chino - Lucia Torres Chrisman 86, of Chino, California, passed away on September 24, 2023.

Lucia was born on July 5, 1937, in Los Angeles, California, to Francisco E. and Carmen M. Torres. Lucy was the youngest daughter of the Torres family and was known for her quiet, kind, loving, and generous nature.

Lucy shared a loving 57-year marriage with her husband, Howard Thomas Chrisman, until his passing in 2016. Together, they raised four children: Teresa Elaine Tidwell (Steven), Gary Thomas Chrisman (Anita), Diane Elizabeth Chrisman-Grancich (William), and Ann-Marie Chrisman. She was a proud grandmother to Richard Chrisman (Ashley), Laura Book (Jeremy), Nichole Delgado (Steven), Rachel Hoffman (Matthew), Anthony Grancich (Vanessa), and Andrew Grancich. Lucy was a great-grandmother to Olivia Delgado and Dottie Book, and she was eagerly anticipating the arrival of another great-grandchild to Richard and Ashley.

Lucy will be dearly missed by her cherished sister-in-law Mary Torres, and numerous adoring nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Frank Torres and Emma (Augustine) Bravo.

Aunt Lucy filled the role of surrogate Mom to Patty Bravo, Pat Conway, Susan Bravo Jackson, Gina Bravo Wilson, and Krista Chiadez Sandoval after Emma's passing.

Lucy and the Torres family were long time prior members of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Victorville, Ca. and Lucy and the Chrisman family were current members of St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church in Chino, California, for 61 years. Her Catholic faith was an integral part of her life.

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 23rd, at 11 am at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church located at 14085 Peyton Dr, Chino Hills, CA 91709. The service will be open to the public, and a light reception will follow in St. Paul the Apostle's hall. Burial will be private.

Lucy Torres Chrisman leaves behind a legacy of love, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
