Lucia Muniz Del Toro, 58, of Dallas, TX, passed away on August 22, 2024. She was born on June 3, 1966, to Jose Villarreal Muniz and Matilde Bocanegra Torres in San Benito, TX.
Lucia was a kindhearted, loveable woman. She loved any and every one she met. Lucia loved her two sons unconditionally. Her family meant everything to her, especially her grandchildren, she loved them so much. Lucia had a passion for many things, some of which include: crafting, art, sewing, music and photography. She lived with a camera in her hand ready to capture any memory she could. She enjoyed making doll clothing for her granddaughter’s dolls. Lucia had a very beautiful smile on her face all the time. She impacted so many people’s lives with her beautiful heart and kind soul. Lucia was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandma, and an amazing mother-in-law. Lucia will be missed dearly.
Lucia is survived by her two sons, David and wife Priscilla Muniz of Amarillo, TX, and Victor and wife Azalea Muniz of North Richland Hills, TX; siblings, brother Jose Angel and wife Annette Muniz of Lubbock, TX, sister Maria Alica Muniz of Lubbock, TX, brother Jesus and wife Severina Muniz of Idalou, Tx, and sister Elizabeth Muniz of Lubbock, TX. Lucia had 15 grandchildren: Issac, Derek, Jacob, Daniel, Abigail, Ezmariah, Lucia, Maria, Serenity, April, Bernardo, Nielly, Victor, Johnny, and Helena.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Villarreal Muniz and Matilde Bocanegra Torres and her grandson Jeremiah Lynn Muniz.
A time of visitation will be held from 2:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at the Venue on Broadway.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024, at the Venue on Broadway.
