Lucille Carol Auckland

Lucille Carol Auckland, of Sellersville, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 15, 2025, at her home. She was 94.

She was the loving wife of 51 years of the late Pastor David C. Auckland until his passing on August 26, 2002.

Born in Hornell, NY, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Myrtie (Shay) Benning. She was a 1950 graduate of Arkport Central High School, Arkport, NY.

Mrs. Auckland was an elementary school teacher for the Faith Christian Academy, Sellersville, from 1973 to 1982. From 1989 to 1999, she served as the Dean of Women for Maranatha Baptist University, Watertown, WI. Following her husband's passing, she returned to employment with Faith Christian Academy where she worked as a remedial reading tutor until 2018.

She was a member of Christ Community Bible Church, Perkasie, PA.

As a pastor's wife, Mrs. Auckland was active in many aspects of church life including teaching Sunday school, counseling ministry, volunteering with the Senior Saints luncheons, and membership in the Ladies Bible Study group.

Her greatest joy was her family and cooking for those whom she loved.

She is survived by four children, Paul H. Auckland and his wife Leslie, of Sellersville, PA, Ruth E. Johnson and her husband Mark, of Front Royal, VA, Beth A. Caudle and her husband Matthew, of Midland, VA, and Jean L. Cade and her husband Donald, of Sellersville, PA; 15 grandchildren, Jaime, Keri, Erin, Derek, Kelly, Travis, Brad, Meghan, Kyle, Brittany, Lindsey, Allison, Alyssa, Amber and Ryne; 21 great-grandchildren; a brother, Allan Benning and his wife Janet Ruth, of Bath, NY; and two sisters, Lois Dungan, of Arkport, NY, and Janet Marquardt and her husband Gustav, of Acworth, GA.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy A. Auckland, in 1999; and two great- grandchildren, Aubree and M.J.

Family and friends are invited to attend her Celebration of Life Service to be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Christ Community Bible Church, 1830 Ridge Road, Perkasie, PA.

Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Sellersville Cemetery, Sellersville, PA.
