AUGUSTA, MAINE
Lucille J. Dostie, age 95, passed away on November 4, 2025. She was born in Augusta, ME on February 13, 1930. She was a daughter of the late Delphis and Marie Louise (Couture) Poulin.
Mrs. Dostie attended St. Augustine School and Cony High School.
She had been employed by Woolworth store during high school. She also worked at E.E. Taylor Shoe Co., R.P. Hazard, and Truit Shoe Co. for many years. She was also employed for 19 years by the State of Maine from which she retired in 1995.
She was a life member of the Ladies of St. Anne Society, the Cushnoc Senior Citizens, and the Calumet Club.
Lucille was predeceased by Donald Dostie her first husband of 53 years; Lionel Morin her second husband of 5 years, and 16 siblings.
She leaves a son, Richard Dostie and wife Nancy (Ezzy) of Ocala, FL; a daughter, Diana Haskell, and husband Steven of Sullivan; a son, Patrick and wife Sheryl (Couverette) of Clinton, NY; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A committal service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th at 9 AM in the chapel at the new Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mt. Vernon Rd., Augusta.
