Lucille Earl-Mullins, 76, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away on June 20, 2025, at Esther’s House Center for Hospice Care, Elkhart, Indiana.
Born in Jackson, Kentucky, on November 23, 1948, Lucille was the daughter of Howard and Lottie M. (Staniffer) Earl. The family would move from Kentucky to Warsaw, where she would get her GED from Warsaw High School and later receiving her high school diploma.
She worked for Da-Lite Screen in Warsaw before moving to Michigan to work for Sturgis Molding in Michigan.
Lucille was a devoted mother to her two loving sons John and Wayne.
She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Mottville, Michigan. Lucille enjoyed fishing, driving around to garage sales and riding her bike around town. She never missed her soap opera, The Young and the Restless and loved shopping off QVC.
Lucille is survived by her two sons; John (Jamie) Sorensen and Wayne (Connie) Sorensen; grandchildren: Kristina, Travis, Dustin and Jamie Sorensen, James Sorensen, James Randolph, Emma Randolph and Amber Martin; several great-grandchildren; two brothers; Arvilee and Frank Earl; sister Francis Cormican as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Elbert Earl, and her sisters, Barbara Inez Drudge, Mary Markley, and Annebelle Lambert.
Visitation will be from 11-1 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 1 p.m. with Pastor Larry Burkhart officiating.
Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Lucille’s favorite charity, Animal Welfare League, 1048 S. 325 E., Pierceton, IN 46562.
