Lucille P. Kalnietis

Lucille P. (Spirito) Kalnietis, age 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at her home in Warwick. She was the wife of Guntis Kalnietis to whom she shared over 60 years of marriage. Born in Providence, she was the only daughter of the late Alfred and Nancy (Giusti) Spirito.

She appreciated the simple things in life and enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and gardening. In keeping with her Italian heritage, she enjoyed cooking Italian cuisine and listening to opera music. She loved all animals and her home always included a pet dog.

Lucille was the devoted mother of Lisa Fletcher, Victoria O'Hearn and Kenneth Kalnietis (wife, Katie); cherished grandmother of Claudia Fletcher, Nico O'Hearn, Savanna O'Hearn, Lachlan Kalnietis and Torin Kalnietis. She was the younger sister of the late Victor Spirito, Domenic Spirito, Albert Spirito and Louis Spirito.

Her Funeral will be held Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 9am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick. Interment will immediately follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 4-7pm.
