Lucille A. McDowell

Lou was the sweetest lady I have had the privilege to know. She was never without a smile even in the most dismal of situations. She always had her door open for anyone who would ask to enter. She was genteel, loving and so respectful. She loved to party and would always get on the dance floor even into her 80's. I miss her dearly but will never forget the lessons she taught me in humility.

Lu was a wonderful and funny person . She was my first mentor at the post office . She taught me all that I knew! Even where her secret candy drawer was! What an awesome friend . I will miss her dearly. Love Bev

I will miss Lou. I played cards with her at the New Baltimore Recreation Club for years. I also picked her up at the house a few times. One time, I was helping her get into the car and we both tripped. Luckily, she fell into a snowbank and was cushioned by it. Nobody got hurt and we went on to go play cards!

Lou I met you the 1st. time at the Post Office in the 70's. I was a Trooper at the New Baltimore Post at the time. You helped me many times in my investigations. You had a great smile and I enjoyed listening to you about your love of travel. My last time with you was at the New Baltimore Recreation Club enjoying card playing and bingo. You were were one of those people that came into my life and made everlasting impression. God Bless you and your family.
