Lucille Rankin Obituary
Mabel L. (Lucille) Rankin
Mabel Lucille Rankin, nee Oldfield, of Miami Township, OH passed away November 4, 2025. Born December 14, 1934 in Mount Sterling, KY to the late Charles E. Oldfield and Floity M. Oldfield. In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Sarah Wren.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 72 years, Bob R. Rankin; four children, Tony (Denise) Rankin of Land O Lakes;FL, Velina Rankin of West Carrollton, OH; Gina (Kevin) Cronenwett of West Carrolton, OH; and Tina (Ron) Faris of Moraine, OH; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Lucille attended church at the Moraine City First Church of God. She enjoyed flower gardening and being with her loving family.
Family will receive guests from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd. Kettering, OH 45439) where a funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm with Pastor Donald Curtis officiating. She will be laid to rest following the service at Butler County Memorial Gardens.
Contributions may be made to Moraine City First Church of God, in Lucille’s memory.
