Lucille Slovensky Obituary
Lucille G. Slovensky, 81, of Streetsboro, passed away Saturday July 6, 2024 at the Justin T. Rogers Hospice House in Akron, Ohio. On May 4, 1943, she was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Stefan and Apolionia (Bugaj) Kurzynski. Mrs. Slovensky has lived in Streetsboro the past 45 years and had owned L&M Novel-T's in Streetsboro. She was a proud member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Mike J. Slovensky, Jr. on February 10, 1993 and her siblings Helen Lalewicz and Hank Kurzynski. Survivors include her children Janis (Rick) Beckett, Steve M. Slovensky and her grandchildren Jacob Stanley and Chloe Beckett. Calling hours will be Friday July 12, 2024 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel. Mass of Christian will burial will be 10:00 Am Saturday July 13, 2024 at St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery Streetsboro.
