Lucinda V. Pumphrey, 101, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Somerset Nursing & Rehab.
Lucinda was born on November 29, 1924 to Frazier & Melvina (Gent) Adams in Gent, Kentucky. She was a devoted member of Eubank Church of Christ. She loved spending time at the Eubank Senior Citizens Center, where she enjoyed fellowship with friends. She found joy in reading, cross-stitch, and sewing, and was known to be a talented seamstress. She also delighted in working puzzles, a pastime that brought her many peaceful hours.
She is survived by her children, Carol & (Hulen) Wilson, Sandra Blevins, Junior & (Tina) Pumphrey, and Marie & (Kenny) Smallwood; five grandchildren, Ken Blevins, Brian Wilson, Patrick Pumphrey, September Cowles, and Chad Smallwood; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Billie Jean Lanigan and Ora Sue Todd; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Pumphrey; her parents, Frazier & Melvina Adams; siblings, Kermitt Adams, Beryl Adams, Evylee Lanigan, Dennis Adams, Rudell Adams, F.C. Adams Jr., Kenneth Adams, and Keith Adams; her son-in-law, Kenny Blevins; and a grandson, Doug Blevins.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 in the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Steven Eubank officiating.
Pallbearers: Patrick Pumphrey, Tyler Pumphrey, Brian Wilson, Kellen Wilson, Ben Blevins, and Chad Smallwood. Honorary pallbearers: Ken Blevins and Easton Blevins.
Burial will be at Eubank Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time for services.
In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy to take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
