Lucretia Shook Obituary
Lou loved attending church, gardening, and taking care of people in need, which she and Ed did most of their life. They were always there when someone needed help. Lou was famous for her pound cakes, which she made in huge volumes. She grew beautiful flowers and plants, and she loved sharing them with friends and neighbors. Lou also loved following the Atlanta Braves. Her schedule revolved around the Braves' schedule. Lou retired from Sears, Roebuck & Co. after a 21-year career.
Funeral services will be held at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 1:00pm. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens in Cumming.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to your favorite church or Charitable Organization.
Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be expressed online at ingramfuneralhome.com.

Sorry that I didn't know about this. Jr. And Crech were my child hood neighbors. My dad thought of them like they were his own kids. I did talk to her about 6 years ago and she was the same happy person that I had known. I hope that Karen and her family have healed from the loss. This being the first Christmas without her has probably been difficult. Her memory will help to get through. Lewis Haney
