Lucus White, aged 19, passed away unexpectedly on December 17, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona. Born on April 16, 2006, in Yuma, Lucus was a vibrant soul known for his kind heart and his unwavering devotion to his family and friends.
A lifelong resident of Arizona, Lucus was a passionate San Francisco 49ers fan. He found his greatest joy playing football and cherished every moment spent playing the game he loved. Above all, Lucus valued the time he spent surrounded by his large, loving family.
Lucus is survived by:
Parents: Starla Ford and William White Sr.
Grandfather: Floyd Ford.
Siblings: Daniel Cox, William White Jr. (Lorna), Joshua White (Lena), Kody Wise, Estrella Morales, and Luna Diaz-Hernandez.
Extended Family: Numerous beloved uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Opal White; his grandmothers, Doris Belback and Darlene Ford; his maternal great-grandmother, Thelma Ford; and his paternal great-grandparents, Pauline and Allen Carson.
Service Information
Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Lucus's life on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Yuma Mortuary.
Location: Yuma Mortuary, 775 S. 5th Avenue, Yuma, AZ 85364
Viewing: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m.
The service will be led by Pastor Tyrone Jr. A eulogy will be delivered by Juanita Hammond, followed by words from his sister, Estrella Morales. The floor will then be opened to any friends or family members who wish to share a memory or tribute to Lucus.
