Lucy M. Lagaza

(nee Rajnish), age 89 of Bedford, passed away March 9, 2023. Loving wife of the late Michael Lagaza Jr. and beloved daughter of the late George and Mary Rajnish, she was proceeded in death by her sisters Catherine Rajnish, Martha Rajnish, Margaret Raynish, and Mary (late Stanley) Cerankoski and brothers George Rajnish, Vincent (late Pauline) Rajnish, and Joseph (late Pauline) Rajnish. She is survived by her dear sister Leona (Thomas) Visha and was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Lucy was born in Barnesboro, PA and moved to Cleveland after high school where she worked for General Electric at the Euclid Lamp Plant for many years. She was a member of the Bedford Eagles and VFW and was an avid bowler and loved to garden and travel. Lucy was a devoted member of St. Mary Church, Bedford and she gave generously to many Catholic charities and those in need. FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL BE RECEIVED AT ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 923 BROADWAY AVE, BEDFORD, (ONE MILE WEST OF FORBES-BROADWAY EXIT OF I-271), FRIDAY, MARCH 17; FROM 4 – 8 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 18 at St. Mary Church, 340 Union St, Bedford, at 10:00 A.M. (please meet at Church). Interment Bedford Cemetery.
