Lucy Mize Palmer, 83, of Cleveland, TN passed away June 1, 2025. She was born May 7, 1942 in Woodville, GA to the late Ernest and Mary Mize.
She was a retired legal bookkeeper. She loved her family and spending time playing board games and cards with them. She made miniature rooms and trees. She loved doing crossword puzzles and reading. She was an amazing cook and loved to make candy at Christmas to give to family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Carl J. Palmer, Jr, Grandson Carlton L. Palmer, Jr. and her beloved dachshund Chewy.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory son Carlton Palmer, daughter Luann Palmer, granddaughters Krystal (Christy) Teasley and Robin Palmer, sister Earline Garrett, numerous great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Companion Funeral Home Ridge Chapel. The family will welcome friends 1:00-3:00, with services to immediately follow.
