Lucy Paquin (née Blair), 89, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, in the comfort of her home after a long battle with dementia.

Born in 1936 in Connors, Canada to the late Frank and Bertha (Milliard) Blair, Lucy came to the United States at age 17. Settling in Willimantic, CT, she was employed for many years at Tubridy's Women's Boutique, where she was known for her style, dedication and friendly spirit.

Lucy was predeceased by her first husband, Willimantic Fire Chief William (Bill) Nichols (1960-1980), and by her second husband, Roger Paquin of Killingworth, Connecticut (1986-2007). Lucy loved and adored her three stepsons Greg Paquin, Todd Paquin, and Keith Paquin along with grandchildren Barbara and Devin Paquin.

The eldest of ten children, Lucy was predeceased by 8 siblings, survived by her sister Leila Toussaint of Danielson, Connecticut, and by many nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her kindness and gentle nature.

Lucy spent her later years in Kerrville, TX, with Roger where they enjoyed a quiet life surrounded by nature. Lucy was a proud and active volunteer, and welcoming greeter at her local church, Notre Dame Catholic Church. She was cared for devotedly by her nephew Michael Toussaint and stepson Todd Paquin, whose support and love brought her great comfort.

A celebration of life will be held on December 9th, 2025, at 10 am in the Grill Room at the Kerrville Dietert Center (451 Guadalupe Street, Kerrville, TX). A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow the service. Your presence, memories, and support are deeply appreciated as we gather to remember a life beautifully lived.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lucy's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
