My first memory was getting my haircut at her home. I loved going with my Grandmother. It was in the late 1950s. After getting married and joining St. Paul's , Lu invited me to her home to do crafts for the church bazaar, she was a sweetheart!

Ludeen and I were members of the Red Hat Society, and I looked to her for advice on what kind of red hat I should get. She found one at the Antique Co op and I wore it proudly for many years. She was such a classy lady!!! Judy DeRycke
