Ludmila T. Derka

I am in shock to hear about Ludka's passing. I first met Ludka through Glorious Grands: A Piano Extravaganza!!! and the Salt Creek Music Teachers Association. She was a smart, energetic and hardworking teacher, who cared about all of her students very much. Her 'ballerina' grace and smile always brightened us up as we did our AIM Exams, recitals and other volunteer work together. She and her students contributed a lot to the past GG productions, and as a co-chair of the event, I know we will all miss her very much. My deepest sympathy and condolences to her entire family. She will be missed by many, many students and colleagues, and we share in your sorrow.
